Thomas E. Paget: Mr. Paget was appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Avalon Health Care, Inc. in 2006. He joined the company in 2002 as Controller. He is responsible for accounting and information systems and provides financial strategy and oversight. With more than 20 years of accounting and auditing experience, he has the necessary perspective and skills to build upon Avalon's record of success.
During his tenure at Avalon, Mr. Paget has implemented several improvements that dramatically increased the company's efficiency and profitability. He was instrumental in updating the accounting and information systems that helped Avalon grow from ten to thirty-three nursing facilities in 2003. While he worked for one of the nation's largest care providers, Mr. Paget now enjoys the challenge of importing successful tools and practices to a regional company that can deliver on its quality of care promises.
Before joining Avalon, Mr. Paget was Vice President of Internal Audit for Beverly Enterprises. He was responsible for the planning, development and delivery of all internal auditing activities. He also coordinated with the external auditing firm. He was Senior Manager of Audit Operations for Deloitte & Touche from 1982-1991.
