Susan Goad

Ms. Goad was appointed as Vice President of Operations and Specialty Programs for Avalon Health Care, Inc, in 2008. Ms. Goad has extensive experience with multi-state management with proven leadership abilities. She has over twenty-six years experience in long-term care facility administration and management in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living. She has improved overall clinical outcomes, financial performance, and improved collections within her assigned regions.

Ms. Goad developed Best Practice procedures for long-term care, employee recruitment and retention programs, conducted senior level training and was responsible for over 400 million dollars in revenues. Her passion for specialty programs began in 1995 when she worked as Vice President of Divisions for Persons with Disabilities at Rescare, Inc. Ms. Goad served as Regional Vice President of Operations-Mountain South Region for Sava Senior Care from 2007-2008. She was the Divisional Vice President of the Southwest Division for Life Care Centers of America from 2002-2007. Between 1982 and 1995 she held a variety of Administrative and Director positions in Health Enterprises of America, Beverly Enterprises, and Living Centers of America.

Susan believes long-term care providers must provide high quality, effective and efficient care if they are to thrive and be able to meet the demands of the industry.
