Melissa Guss-Hoffelmeyer: Ms. Guss-Hoffelmeyer is President of Brighton Rehabilitation, L.L.C., which is co-owned by an Avalon subsidiary and an affiliate of Mountain Land Rehabilitation, Inc. She has an extensive knowledge of and experience with many different areas of rehabilitation. She is able to attract and retain leading therapists and is building a comprehensive team.
Before joining Avalon, she was Vice President and Corporate Compliance Officer for Mountain Land Rehabilitation from 1996-2006. She was a member of the Executive Management Staff and responsible for all compliance programs and continuous quality improvement.
She also provided direction and fiscal oversight for all service lines. Ms. Guss-Hoffelmeyer was Regional Vice President and Director of Operations for the Sundance Rehabilitation Corporation from 1994-1996 where she developed and marketed superior contract therapy services in four states.
