The Franciscan is located in beautiful Merced, California the “Gateway to Yosemite.”  Our community is located in north Merced within walking distance of the Merced Mall, dining, and Merced College.  Merced is a unique city filled with warm and friendly people.  Residents at Franciscan enjoy individualized care in our small skilled nursing care center, creating a welcoming and personable care experience. We specialize in short term rehabilitation services for those seeking transitional care from an acute medical facility to home.

Our staff is compassionate and dedicated to the care of each resident we serve.   
Residents are our first priority and we strive to meet the physical and emotional needs of each individual in our care.  We offer a continuum of services to address the individual needs of each resident.  No two people are the same.  Providing just the right amount of support and care is important.  Our comfortable surroundings and personalized care allow individuals and their families to feel at home while they are away from home.
