Barbara Lillemon

Ms. Lillemon was appointed Vice President of Public Relations Avalon Health Care Inc., in 2011. She has been with Avalon since 2007 serving as Vice President of Marketing. During her tenure at Avalon she has significantly furthered the company's profile in Arizona, California, Utah, Washington and Hawaii - utilizing strategic planning and versatile marketing techniques. She has successfully defined potential markets, developed business plans, branding initiatives, and strategies to maximize revenue sources.

Her role at Avalon includes responsibilities in strategic oversight of PR agencies, establishing effective media campaigns, directing collateral design and development, managing social media, developing and maintaining company relationships, contract negotiation, research and writing successful request for proposals for program development, legislative event coordination, planning and executing major events. At all times Ms. Lillemon's goal is to adhere to corporate core values and present Avalon Health Care as the premier health care provider in its’ five state region.

With 17 years of experience working in the long-term care industry, Ms. Lillemon has proven to be a proactive team member with the ability to use marketing and PR to increase census and revenue. Her record of strategic planning and innovation contributed to multi-million dollar revenue growth through targeted marketing and census development initiatives. Before coming to Avalon, Ms. Lillemon worked as Director of Marketing for Horizon West HealthCare, where she increased overall census and streamlined internal collateral development. Similarly, while working North American Healthcare, Ms. Lillemon increased and maintained daily census as well as designed and implemented marketing plans and collateral.

Ms. Lillemon holds a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Relations.
